With Presence
Presence is the foundation of our work. It begins with self-awareness: knowing who we are, reading what is in front of us and understanding what our actions set in motion.
My experience has been formed over seventeen years across military service, government, security and complex programmes where judgement carries consequence. It began with a commission in the British Army and later included service with 21 Special Air Service Regiment (Artists), alongside work across government, strategic programmes and the protection of people, places and interests of significance.
Fine art has been an equally formative discipline. It brings another way of seeing: observation, intuition, imagination and the ability to look beyond what already exists.
Experience matters, but presence is what allows us to use it well: to remain steady, see clearly, exercise judgement and act with purpose.
Brannock & Co. was founded on those disciplines. We create the clarity, capability and conditions for people to exercise their own judgement, retain their agency and move decisively in the direction they choose.
The requirement changes. The standard remains: judgement, discretion, responsibility and the ability to act when it matters.

Much of the experience shaping Brannock has been formed outdoors, on estates, and in sensitive or remote environments where responsibility extends beyond people to land, wildlife, and continuity.

Leadership
Chance Eaton
Principal & Founder
Commissioned from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, serving as an Infantry Captain in the British Army. He later served with 21 SAS (Artists Rifles) and within the UK Special Forces community, concluding with a diplomatic posting in Colombia.
Chance brings to Brannock a decade of disciplined service and a conviction that presence, judgement and restraint are the foundations of high-trust capability: protection, leadership and delivery, carried out with discretion.
Philip Wheeler
Head of Protect & Preserve
Eighteen years in high-consequence environments. An Infantry Commander in the British Army, including two operational tours of Afghanistan. A decade as a UK Government law-enforcement officer operating against organised crime and trafficking, and close protection for ultra-high-net-worth families and public figures across the UK and overseas.
At Brannock, Philip leads Protect and Preserve: discreet protective capability woven into daily life, and the stewardship of the land, wildlife and estates that surround it. Known for calm decision-making and composure where it counts.
